Antique Italian majolica pitchers with a monogram

XVII/XVIII century Italian- either Faenza or Caltagirone- near pair of large pitchers, made surely for a grand family, with monogram and device (to be identified). They are restored, but by a majolica specialist who tried to safe as much of the original as possible.
Underneath one there is a faint monogram, probably the makers name: J. D.
