1920-1940 Nigeria Izzi people

An antique carved wooden spoon depicting a standing person with a cone head or hat. For ritualistic purpose made, possibly for the village elder or chieftain. 

It has a redbrown patina and interesting carved details with geometric shapes.

In good order.
