XIX century (XVIII century books) France
A highly decorative Faux Livres secret boxes bookends with armory decor. Standing perfectly as classical leather and paper bookends but with secret compartments. The marble paper has been added or replaced a worn version in the XX century. But excellently done.
In good condition, some wear and user traces and one dent in the paper. Not very noticeable, see the last photo.
